What a day!

Today during class, Adam called me to say that he had just hit Mitsy, my baby girl (dog), with his truck. Some how she had gotten under or beside the truck tire and got caught. She loves to be outside and run along side the truck or bike. When she got hurt she started to cry out and Adam heard her and stopped. She was laying on the ground, but did get up and come towards him. He picked her up and brought her in to check her out.

Adam called the vets in Terrace and thank goodness, Dr. Farkvam said he could treat her. So we all jumped in the truck and took off to Terrace. On the way there Mitsy started to breath really fast, panting, drooling, and shaking. As soon as we got to Dr. Farkvam's office they whisked her to the back, gave her morphine and took x-rays. Thank goodness she had no broken bones, just lots of soft tissue bruising and swelling.

We came back home with her and have her resting in her kennel. She is a lucky dog, and I am so lucky to have her still. I know Adam won't admit it, but he is glad she's okay too!
